Having been employed by both the US government and the private sector in Latinoamerica, I have a "bit" of insight that the average tourist might not maintain, or that the average US citizen might NOT "want!"
Serving in education for nearly twenty-five years, my perceptions have been molded by time, my travels, education (my own, as well as that which I have aided my students, peers and friends to acquire), and, finally by means of the quest, and oft times fulfillment of life's myriad of processes and experiences.
Without fail, I love life! Hence, "WE" must urge the vital and correct "critical mass" to accept empowerment. It is critical that we remain diligent, that we continue to share mutually beneficial information by all means possible, including semi-public forums on the world wide web, that we attempt to disseminate our insights and findings in a variety of tongues and languages, and that we learn to live dynamically, ever-changing and never allow ourselves to merely "exist" accepting 'force majeure'--trust me they are awaiting our surrender.
